About us 2020-04-09T13:33:30+00:00

Due to Covid-19, the need for social distancing and impact on our work many Surrey Wildlife Trust staff are being furloughed until the end of May under the government’s Job Retention scheme. This will affect our ability to continue to provide the Logs for All delivery service.  As a result, our last day of operation will be 10th April for the time being.  If you require any logs please place your order as soon as possible and we will endeavour to deliver to you by this date.  Please also note that all payments need to be made via the online ordering system, which is also where any notes of where you need the log bags placed should be included.  We are sorry that we are unable to continue throughout and would like to thank you for your support and understanding at this difficult time. The situation will be reassessed in due course in line with government recommendations and we will keep you updated as best we can.

Surrey Wildlife Trust manages almost 8000 hectares of land in Surrey (5% of the county) with wildlife in mind and for the enjoyment of local people.

Our hands-on approach of caring for nature reserves and advising other landowners on managing land for nature has transformed the fortunes of some of Surrey’s most threatened species.  We are working with Logs for All to provide customers with excellent quality firewood, which has been harvested in a sustainable and responsible way from UK woodlands.  Sensitive management of woodlands maintains a diversity of habitats with trees of different species and ages, as well as open spaces to let in light and warmth.  This will help wildlife flourish, creating a well-managed, species-rich woodland.

Logs for All

Logs for All supply only well-seasoned, specially selected, hardwood logs that have low moisture content and therefore burn longer; this offers our customers better quality and value for money.

Our logs and firewood are supplied in a large (90x90x90cm) mess-free, vented bag. These eco-friendly bags ensure the logs are kept at optimum conditions. Better still, Logs for All will give you a free bag of kindling if we collect and reuse the bags for you.

Our kindling is supplied in 2.5kg bags, and is sourced from Oxford Wood Recycle, “a social enterprise partnership” with Pathway Workshop – providing employment for people with disabilities.
